Heidi Masching, MA

Heidi is a sociologist with a background in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, applying this experience to her position as a Research Associate at Goshen. Heidi received her master’s degree in Sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) where she studied strategic and ideological shifts within social movement organizations, highlighting the way these organizations promote themselves to the public through media. Originally based in the greater St. Louis area, Heidi currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska where she remotely supports several evaluations.

 

Heidi’s degree in Sociology guides her research at Goshen by incorporating a focus on diversity and equity within social systems, specifically within school systems and educational organizations. Her experience in statistics and qualitative research helps her bring clarity and context to her projects, especially when cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data through interactive dashboards.
